Kris has just updated his Weibo with a handwritten note to his fans.
He wants to thank everyone who has been standing by him through all of this turmoil with SM Entertainment and EXO.
From what it sounds like, especially his last sentence, it sounds like Kris is firm on his decision to leave.
We’re both happy and sad at the same time… mainly because we still have an ounce of hope that he’ll change his mind and return to EXO.
Here’s a translation of Kris’s note, credit to douchezhang:
“I’m alright. I wish you all the best, and that things will be even better for you guys. Thanks to all of those who support me, thanks for all your voices of support. Wu Yi Fan will always be here! 2014.5.16.”
As of right now, it seems that Kris might be gone from EXO for good, but SM Entertainment is still working on trying to get him back by next week.
Right now there’s still a chance, and nothing has gone too far.
This is a transitioning period and while we hope that SM will be able to convince him to rejoin EXO (just give him what he wants!), if worst-case scenario happens and he leaves for good, we’ll still support him.
